What is Koptari?

KOPTARI stands for Konferensi Pemimpin Tinggi Tarekat Religius Indonesia (Conference of High Religious Order Leaders of Indonesia). It is a conference that brings together leaders from various religious orders in Indonesia. KOPTARI consists of MASI (Musyawarah Imam Seluruh Indonesia – Indonesian Priests Assembly), IBSI (Ikatan Biarawati Seluruh Indonesia – Indonesian Nuns Association), and MABRI (Musyawarah Antar Bruder Indonesia – Indonesian Brothers Assembly), each of which coordinates activities and collaborations among priests (MASI), nuns (IBSI), and brothers (MABRI) from different congregations across Indonesia.
