If we have personally known Jesus, then we will not separate ourselves from Jesus Christ (Mgr. Silvester San; Closing Mass of the KOPTARI 2024 Plenary Assembly)
[KOPTARI Plenary Assembly Day III & IV] One of the agendas in the KOPTARI 2024 plenary session was the election of the KOPTARI Board of Executives. After reports were presented from each faction (IBSI, MABRI, and MASI) as well as the report from the KOPTARI Board of Executives, the election for the chairpersons of each faction was held. In consideration of their leadership periods in their respective congregations and whether they had previously served in any faction or on the KOPTARI board, several names were nominated for the position of chairperson of each faction. After a thorough election process, the following chairpersons for each faction were elected for the 2024-2027 term:

On the third day, each faction gathered to formulate programs to be implemented during the 2024–2027 period.
The fourth day marked the final day of the KOPTARI plenary session, during which the election of the KOPTARI Chairperson and the KOPTARI Board of Executives for the 2024–2027 period was conducted, resulting in the following outcomes:

In the closing Mass of the plenary session, led by Mgr. Silvester San, Bishop of the Diocese of Denpasar, the bishop urged all participants to give a personal answer to the question of who Jesus is, not based on theories or homilies heard in the past. This answer is important and expected from us as individuals who are followers of Jesus (religious). The bishop emphasized that in order to personally know who Jesus is, we must also continuously maintain personal contact with Him. There are various ways to do this: through prayer, reflection, meditation, recollections, retreats, especially as religious. By maintaining personal contact with Jesus, we come to know Him better, and He comes to know us more deeply, allowing us to also better understand the people around us.
The bishop also hoped that the results and decisions of this plenary session would truly be realized and implemented in the missionary work at each place, especially in creating peace wherever we are. May the outcomes of the plenary session that have been agreed upon be useful for the ministry of all the religious congregations and beneficial for the service of the Church in Indonesia.
At the end of the Mass, Mgr. Silvester San gave a special blessing to the KOPTARI Board of Executives and the newly elected faction chairpersons, so that they may become even more courageous in personally knowing Jesus.
Congratulations to the newly elected Board of Executives. May you carry out the mission of God's love so that more people may come to know and love the Lord.
